Boston Pre-Trip
Since Carl and I will be separated for two months, we decided to spend a weekend alone together in Boston before I fly out of Logan Airport. Saturday we visited the galleries in the Harrison Ave/Thayer St Neighborhhod and the galleries on Newbury St. Many we’re closed, August isn’t the best time for seeing art. But we actually saw quite enough interesting work. The collage work with no caption we saw at Lanoue Fine Art and I think the artist’s name is Beth Potsma – Carl took all my postcards home with him and I somehow lost my first write up on this. If you are interested, check their website. The weather was beautiful for just walking around and Sunday we enjoyed all sorts of artistic inspiration in Boston Commons, in the architecture all around us, the great people watching, the shops – everything. And now I’m in the airport struggling to learn to blog on the go! Forgive my errors while I learn, please!
