Some Words About Feet…Who Knew?
Occupe-toi de tes pieds.
Guess what that means. It means, “Mind your own feet!” Or, as we would say, “Mind your own business!” (As a young kid I remember saying, “Mind your own beeswax!” Do any of the rest of you remember using that phrase?)
Ken, Margaret and I went to the Cultur’Cafe today to join the Sunday regulars for a wee drink and to say my goodbyes to Fabienne, Philippe, and Patrick (Sylvie wasn’t there), and someone said this phrase to someone else. I had just taken a couple of photos of feet – in order to begin my Lyon wanderings on the right foot – and I couldn’t believe my ears!
Well, I certainly do not want you to mind your own feet. Please continue to mind my feet and the feet that I photograph. Now, I really must pack, got to catch a train to Lyon tomorrow.

A new entry into our Infamous Hall of Feet: Patrick’s, making an impressive debut in some jazzy sandals!

I never did show you Ozolles, did I? Well, it will only take a couple of photos – rather like North Adams in that respect. Here is Ozolles: Photo One.
I believe Fabienne to be in 4th position.
Wonderful posts.
