Oct. 3, Thursday: Gardening & Lunch.
Sorry guys, nothing exciting for you today. We worked in the garden from 8 to 12, digging up bulbs, cleaning up bulbs, weeding and preparing beds, and replanting bulbs. Backbreaking and dirty, but very satisfying work. Cathy and I came home (hmmm…not my home much longer), cleaned up, and had a lovely lunch. Cathy and I are becoming minimalists – in our food and in our art. Take a look.

I prefer the simplicity of Cathy’s lunch composition but agree with Martha. You need a few more calories in order to survive!

I think the table hinge adds an intriguing note. The tomato position is pleasing to the eye; think you need to add some things for your lunch, however! Minimalism can be taken too far when it comes to food, especially when you’ve been doing all that exercising. Hear, hear 🙂
Definitely without the hinge…the last foto: “unhinged”? Very cuisine minceur I would love to work in that garden! See you soon, Elizabeth
